Getting' My Crafty On

A while back some unknowing sole was throwing away 4 solid core doors from a 1920's house that they were remodeling.  The poor doors looked so lonely sitting on the curb waiting for the garbage man to come haul them away.  Was that anyway to end their nobel lives?  No!  I couldn't have it.

So, I secured the dog Artie, our Rat Terrier, to the emergency brake so he couldn't escape while I lugged the new treasures into the back of my Prius.

Of course they didn't fit!  Why would they?  I hadn't planned for this to happen, we don't own a truck, and that is just how my luck goes.

After finding some safety ties that actually came with the car, in the glove box, I was good to go!  Very slowly.  Artie, the dog, still strapped in so he wouldn't jump out the back and into traffic.

Once home I used what energy I had left to unload my new projects!  (Those things are heavier than they look.)

After much scrapping, sanding. planning and painting,  here are a couple of the projects.
